MUST HAVE FW'17: TOP the Sweaters you’re Buying Now

Fall is here—finally! After months of high-degree temperatures and stifling humidity, we’re actually looking forward to a chill breeze, and we don’t even mind that everything is suddenly pumpkin-flavored. Great sweaters are the foundation of every fall wardrobe. Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini captures the joyful vibe of the '60s for the Pre-Fall '17 collection. Part of the feminine lineup, this cable-knit sweater is spun from a wool-blend that's flecked with colorful yarns for a mélange effect. Army-green ruffles cascade along the bodice, cuffs and hem. We love how Lemaire has transformed the classic black turtleneck sweater into something fresh using subtle detailing. This wool style is ribbed to highlight the smallest part of your waist before gently flaring into a peplum hem. The sleeves are slightly puffed for volume at the shoulders. Chloé's '70s-inspired Pre-Fall '17 collection is made up of earthy palettes like the rich brick hue of this sweater. Defined ...

MUST HAVE: Alessandro Michele draws inspiration from the world of nature to create Gucci Accessories

Alessandro Michele draws inspiration from the world of nature to create Gucci 's cherry-shaped brooch. It's crafted in Italy from gold-tone metal that's burnished for an antiqued finish and is detailed with a small engraved logo. Wear it to secure the pussy-bow ties of a floral-print blouse. Gucci pays homage to iconic jewellery and fashion designer Hattie Carnegie with this ivory-white cuff. It's made in Italy with a carved leaf shape that is set with a crystal-embellished tiger head plaque, then secures with a classic hinge fastening. Gucci's SS19 collection was imbued with the star and shell symbols displayed on this ivory horn-effect cuff – typically romantic codes from Alessandro Michele. The pop-inspired band is crafted in Italy featuring the house's mirrored GG plaque set in a cut-out centre segment, then embellished with metal studs and finished with a hinge-fastening. Wear it over the sleeve of a white shirt to off-set the gold hues.

MUST HAVE: The secret of a unique jewel by Rosantica

Rosantica's 'Aquilone' necklace is so-called because of its delicate kite-shaped links. SS26: Whispers of Spring by Oscar de la Renta

For the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2026 collection, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia celebrate the revitalizing energy of spring through texture and movement. The porcelain flower, reminiscent of those from Kim’s family garden, comes to life through crochet, cross-stitching on rattan lace, and hand-painted leather enamel clusters. Sinuous vines adorned with these flowers climb a variety of silhouettes, from fluid silk chiffon caftans to lace guipure dresses and a softly structured cocoon coat. A cyclamen print inspired by the chiné weaving technique adds textural movement to a thread-work embroidered denim dress, printed satin pajamas, and an ombré jacquard jacket. The color palette is the essence of spring: butter, cerulean, and pear. Fringed styles make a return, most notably on a duo of tea-length sequin cocktail dresses and a platine bugle bead gown with a crystal lattice neckline. A trio of allover crystal cluster evening styles showcase intricate hand-embroidered...
